Letras, UFS·CELTA·International examiner·Conversation

I've taught English for more than fifteen years, in language institutes and bilingual schools across Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. I hold a degree in Letras from the Universidade Federal de Sergipe, a CELTA specialization in English language teaching, and I examine for prestigious international boards. I joined Signal in 2026.

Most of my work happens online, in small, conversation-focused groups. I build classes that are dynamic, clear, and adapted to what each student needs: real use of the language, active participation, and progress you can feel. Classes run in English, with an escape hatch into Portuguese when understanding matters more than performing.

What I teach

Three things I'm built for.

For people who want to use the language for real, not just study it. Choose what fits and we'll sequence the rest in your level test.

Conversation in small groups (B2 and up)

Topic-driven groups where you do most of the talking. Dynamic, clear, and adapted to the group: real use of the language over drills, with correction that doesn't cut off your thinking.

Groups of 12 or fewer · one or two sessions a week

General English (all levels)

Fifteen years across institutes and bilingual schools in Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay: academic and communicative learning, paced for your level and your goals, in semesters with formal assessments.

Small groups · 75-minute classes

Cambridge B2 First and C1 Advanced prep

Format-first prep, taught by an examiner for international boards: you sit the exam knowing exactly what the rubric rewards. A mock exam every semester, plus free weekly exam practice.

Cohorts of 12 or fewer · one or two sessions a week

Schedule

Two semesters a year.

Courses run March to June and July to November: two live classes a week on weekday evenings, or one three-hour class on Saturday mornings. You can pay by the semester or by the month.

Classes are scheduled in your timezone, with evening and Saturday-morning slots across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.
