I've taught English for twelve years in language institutes, in person and online. I built my career mainly in Uruguay, and before that in Venezuela, with students of different levels and ages, mostly adults. I joined Signal in 2026.
My classes are communicative: you use the language from minute one. Since 2021 I’ve examined International House national exams, and I was part of Plan Ceibal. I also trained in dialogue facilitation with Soliya, which gave me powerful tools for connecting with people and understanding their perspectives. That, to me, is what a good class is: a real conversation.

What I teach
Three things I'm built for.
To use the language for real, not just study it. Choose what fits and we'll sequence the rest in your level test.
General English for adults (all levels)
Twelve years in language institutes, in person and online: communicative learning paced for your level and your goals, in semesters with formal assessments.
Speaking practice with an examiner's eye
Since 2021 I've examined International House national exams. We practice speaking the way it's actually scored: clear criteria, honest feedback, no surprises on the day.
Schedule
Two semesters a year.
Courses run March to June and July to November: two live classes a week on weekday evenings, or one three-hour class on Saturday mornings. You can pay by the semester or by the month.
Classes are scheduled in your timezone, with evening and Saturday-morning slots across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.

Thirty minutes online with the studio. We assess your level out loud against the CEFR scale (A1 to C2), talk about what you're learning English for, and match you with the right teacher. If you want Diana specifically, tell us in the booking and we'll do our best, scheduling permitting.
